One Mission, Many Opportunities

/files/general pictures/MOPSwhenandwhere.jpg MOPS, or Mothers of Preschoolers, is a place to relax and regroup with fellow moms, form new relationships, and receive support and guidance to get you through challenges ahead. Quality child care is provided by the MOPPETS teachers, so you can enjoy the meetings of food, fun, and fellowship knowing your child is in good hands.

We meet two Tuesday's a month from 9:15-11:30, starting Sept 8th 2009. 2009-2010

Piecemakers (click here for more information)

The Piecemakers are a group of women of Klein UMC who meet Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m., in the Christian Life Center (CLC). This group learns and experiences the art of quilting. We have classes once a month and the rest of the time we work on the Opportunity Quilt for EggStravaganza and other projects. We have made over 700 quilts for the Ronald McDonald House in Houston. These quilts are for children who have had treatment, they choose the quilt they want and it is theirs to keep. All are welcome to attend. For more information, please contact Susan Tandy.

Women of the Well
Women of the Well A.M. meets on the second Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in Wesley Hall. Together they share a light breakfast and great conversation followed by a speaker. Childcare is available at no cost.

Women of the Well P.M. meets on the second Monday at 7:00 p.m. They, too, share a time of fellowship by a speaker with other opportunities to eat out together and participate in other activities in the church.

Body Sculpting
Body Sculpting classes with our own Linda Gorski! Body Sculpting is for anyone! Linda is an awesome teacher, a great motivator, non-judgmental and very patient! Teaching proper technique and form is a critical part of her ministry in teaching us that STRONG WOMEN STAY YOUNG!!! Linda is able to work with all levels of fitness.

Sisters In Christ

Girlfriends Golden Gala
A special event with food, friends and laughter. Each year hostesses host a table with decoration and great fellowship.
