
Adult Sunday School
Welcome
We offer two separate hours for our Adult Sunday school classes, below are a list of the various classes we offer here at Klein.
* Bread of Life - Rm. 134: This delightful class is open to all ages, and explores Biblical topics, as well as contemporary stories with Bible applications. This intimate atmosphere enables sharing and class time socials.

* Christian Life 101 - SE Portable: This motivated group consists of married couples in their 30's, 40's and 50's who are seeking to apple Christian teaching to contemporary activities and events. The class format is lecture and discussion on topics such as Bible study, family relationships, and personal improvement/development. Socials are held monthly.

* Christians' Quest - Rm. 263: This class is made up of both singles and couples from their early 30's to late 40's. A lecture/discussion format is used to study various Bible and life application topics. Studies are lead by various class members. Adult and Family events are enjoyed by all.

* Circle of Friends - NE Portable: This class consists of singles and married couples who look at Bible based studies seeking Biblical direction for real life situations. Topics include family issues such as how to deal with children, step-children, ex-spouses, aging and retirement.

* Family of Faith - NW Portables: This class is devoted to guiding, supporting and befriending couples and singles raising young children. The class will be presented in a way that can be understood by beginners, but will serve the needs of "seasoned" Christians as well. Content focus is on Christian family issues, as well as, building Biblical knowledge. All those desiring to grow in their faith are welcome!

* Fellowship - Rm. 262: This class studies the Bible by alternating between the Old and New Testaments making their way through the entire Bible. New members of all ages are welcome.

* Friendship - Scout Hut: This class includes couples and singles of all ages with diverse interests and recognize that all are on a faith journey with the Lord; just at different steps in that journey. Semiannually, the class selects new topics of discussion. Each study lasts from 4-6 weeks and is Bible-based or Bible-related. Several class members teach and guest speakers are invited in at times. The class has a montly Saturday afternoon or evening social event.

* Homebuilders - Rm. 261: This is a discussion based class. Study topics include Christian family issues and Bible study. Homebuilders is a class of mostly couples with children in preschool or elementary school who meet socially once a month and participate in a mission project quarterly.

* Open Door - Brides Room: This class selects study guides and individula references to aid their study of the Bible. The class uses an open discussion format studying books chosen by class vote and enjoy occasional get-togethers. Open Door welcomes couplese and singles of all ages and opinions.

* Seekers - Rm. 265: This interactive, Bible focused class alternates studies from the Old and New Testaments including topics relating to personal development. Most studies are 8-10 weeks in length. The Seekers are a group of singles and couples age "40-plus" who make monthly socials an important part of their warm fellowship and Biblical studies.

* Sojourners - Rm. 136: This class is made up of those 30-80 years of age who explore diverse materials and topics from Bible studies to contemporary issues. The format is lecture/discussion with an emphasis on respect for a variety of opinions. Fellowship times include refreshments at the beginning of class. This group includes couples and singles.

* Today's Christians - Rm. 124: A discussion/lecture class about social issues of today as they relate to the Bible. Teaching responsibilites alternate among class members. This class of couples and singles, 30's to 50's, enjoy lunch after church each month, as well as occasional socials.

* Wesley - Rm. 135: This class welcomes all ages, including singles, couples and some who have lost a spouse. Several members teach in other classes but attend Wesley's quarterly socials or outings, which provide for excellent eating and fellowship. Members are active in various programs of the church. Our teachers and leaders rotate between class selected Cokesbury studies. Members of the class and church staff teach to provide an opportunity to know each other better.

(Living In Faith Everyday)
* Crossroads - Rm. 124: This class welcomes any couple and career adults between the ages of 18-30. Studies will be wide-range from studying specific books of the Bible, topical Bible discussions, book studies and whatever else we come up with, but always leading back to a scriptural basis. While the target audience will be young adults, all are welcome.

* Faith Boomers - Scout Hut: This class is designed for anyone with a child in Jr. High or older and is lead by various members of the class. Emphasis is placed on faith and Christian growth through class studies as well as monthly socials.

* New Beginnings - Rm. 202: This class uses a discussion format to study Bible based issues as leaders use many of the contemporary Cokesbury books and other materials to guide lessons. Prayer concerns and fellowship are shared and new ideas are welcome. Membership includes couples and singles ages 30+. Social activities include supper club and other family events.
