/files/staff photo/Donna Bloh/_bloh, donna-staff.jpgI have passionately served as Director of Klein Weekday Ministries for Children since 2006.   I have married to my husband Greg for twenty years and have a beautiful daughter named Kamryn.

I fervently believe that early childhood education is the cornerstone of a child’s life long learning opportunities.  Quality early childhood education enables children to learn developmentally in a positive, enriching environment which fosters the child’s love of school.  This love of school and learning in general then opens the door to a child’s future.  In essence, early childhood educators are teaching tomorrow’s future, the future adults of our country.  Teaching the future is not to be underestimated.  Early childhood education also provides parents insight into the possible reasons that young children may struggle both academically and socially and how early intervention can unlock the door to a child’s future potential.  Early intervention and assessment of all children’s needs is at the heart of my educational philosophy.

I hold a Masters degree in Behavioral Science-School Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Baylor University.  Prior to serving at Klein UMC, I worked as a Behavioral Consultant in the public schools, directed Chapelwood UMC’s preschool, and taught Kindergarten and grades 3 through 7 for eight years.
