MOPs is designed to support Moms through fellowship and spiritual growth opportunities.  We have a morning and an evening MOPs group with additional study opportunities.  Our Moms also meet for Moms' Night Out and partner with Mentor moms in the congregation.

Professional Counseling

Dasha Taylor has been providing counseling services on a church campus since 2002. She is licensed as a Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist by the state of Texas. 

Thanksgiving Feast

For almost a decade we have been preparing and serving a FREE community-wide Thanksgiving meal to hundreds of neighbors on Thanksgiving Day.

Kairos Ministry

Klein joins with several other local Churches in supporting the Kairos Prison Ministry. Its mission is to share the  love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ
to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, 
to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.

Our Feeding Ministry partners with area schools to identify and serve families suffering from food insecurity.  Families are served non-perishables, meats, dairy, fresh produce, and infant items on a bi-weekly basis.

Klein UMC supports Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) in its mission as a nonprofit, community-based, multi-program social service agency that striving to help meet  the basic human needs of our neighbors. NAM provides assistance in areas including food, shelter, health, education, safety and financial education.

Klein UMC has been a long-term supporter of Habitat for Humanity.


We have several members that participate weekly.

Hope Beyond Bridges

Along with several other local churches, Klein United Methodist Church is a supporter of Hope Beyond Bridges. Monthly we prepare a hearty meal and serve it to the community near I45. 

In addition, we collect and distribute personal grooming and clothing items to these individuals.

The Gathering Place

The Gathering Place offers both respite care for individuals living with Alzheimer's or other dementia and a support group opportunity for their caregivers.  The Gathering Place meets monthly.

Elementary School Mentors

Teacher & Student

We have mentors at both Kreinhop and Schultz Elementary in Klein ISD.

Klein UMC partners with both Shultz and Kreinhop Elementary Schools in the Klein ISD district. As mentors, many of church community support students, their families and school faculties and staff. We are active as student mentors and in helping at-risk families in the school community.

We also provide support to Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM) as part of our commitment to community outreach. TEAM operates a resale shopfood pantry, and an assistance ministry. They provide short-term assistance with food, clothing, shelter, rent and utilities, as well as medical and prescription needs. 

Epiphany Ministry

Like Kairos Ministry, Epiphany Ministry focuses on younger at risk and incarcerated individuals. Epiphany Ministry has a mission "To show Christ's transforming love to at risk and incarcerated youth".
